BusNet
Due to the pandemic we have experienced, COVID-19 not only has disrupted our way of living but has created obstacles that even now we are still learning to work around. Many people are skeptical and hesitant of leaving their homes now to be in public places that are indoors such as schools, malls, theaters etc. With the adjustments of how we are attending classes, many students are having to do distant learning which comes with some challenges like not having any access to wifi/ internet, personal interactions, and other materials necessary for learning
Approach
The challenge was to create a way for students to continue distant learning with having free access to internet, counseling, and even tutoring for extra help needed.
Solution
The solution was to create an app that would allow buses to travel around to different neighborhoods for students to gather at where they would have access to free wifi and internet to be able to keep track of their assignments and still be able to learn as if they were in a classroom.
Give it a go!
Try out the app that was designed for students that weren’t able to have access to internet during the pandemic, which was hindering on their ability to learn new material when the world was shut down. BusNet allows students to stay connected and in touch with their school work and community during these dark times.
